Back in the day, I hated advertising.
An evil capitalist machine,
luring people to buy things they don’t need.

But that one hot summer in my sophomore year,
my ajarn (instructor) showed me an ad.
Guess what? It was a Nike ad.

A man who kneeled down on the field,
who refused to stay silent in the face of injustice.
I remembered him: Colin Kaepernick.

“Believe in something,
even if it means sacrificing everything.”
That line kept echoing in my mind.
It made me realize one thing...

"It's more than just an ad."

It’s not just a tool used for sales.
It’s a tool used for change.
And there’s art within it.

It can be a voice. It can take a stand.
It can really change the world.
And that’s how I began my journey in advertising.
